Ethan graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University as a business major with a focus on entrepreneurship and has been in the financial services industry for 10 years.
Originally from the Northern Virginia area, Ethan joined Centennial Financial Group LLC in 2014. Ethan is passionate about building and helping people achieve what makes them happy, so he enjoys working with business owners, young professionals, pre-retirees, and anyone who wants to start planning for their future. He achieved his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation to be able to bring more value to CFG's clients. He values education and plans to continue learning more for his clients.
He also enjoys entrepreneurship on the side as well. Being one of his passions, he decided to create a co-working space called 814 Worx.
Using this platform he is heavily involved in helping the entrepreneurship scene evolve and grow. Either through financial planning, workshops, or just sitting down to talk about business, he is passionate in helping someone with an idea and a drive to build their business. Giving back is important to him, so he is involved in the community through Richland Rotary club, the JAHA board, and the YPA for 8 years now. He is a shark at UPJ helping young entrepreneurs to develop their businesses and supports Vision 2025 and various initiatives in the area.
This entrepreneurship passion also led him to his next designation he achieved, the CEPA designation (Certified Exit Planning Advisor) where he helps business owners exit their business into their next phase of life by getting the full value of their business through various succession and sale strategies. Often times business owners may want to exit their business, but they don't know how or what they need to do to get the value from it they want. As a CEPA, Ethan can help solve that problem for them.
When not working on business, he tries to find time to enjoy the outdoors through hiking and camping. He also enjoys working with his hands, woodworking, getting good food, cooking, and enjoying a good book. Although he will always go talk business ideas over a drink anytime he can.
