We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Financial Paraplanner to join our team and grow with us. This role offers meaningful hands-on experience in financial planning, direct exposure to advisor-level work, and a clear path toward advancement into a full advisor role for the right candidate.


About the Role

The Financial Paraplanner plays a critical support role in helping our advisors deliver high-quality financial plans and an outstanding client experience. You will work directly alongside our advisors and operations team, assisting with plan preparation, client communication, new business processing, and the development of educational content. This is a role for someone who is genuinely curious about financial planning, thrives in a detail-oriented environment, and wants to build a long-term career in the industry.

Securities licensing is not required at the time of hire but is preferred. Support for obtaining relevant licenses will be available for the right candidate.


Responsibilities

Financial Planning Support

  • Assist advisors in the preparation, development, and maintenance of client financial plans and presentations
  • Gather, organize, and input client financial data in preparation for client meetings and reviews
  • Maintain and update financial plans, client records, and review materials on an ongoing basis
  • Conduct research on specific planning topics and complex client situations as directed by advisors
  • Assist in the development of financial planning and educational materials for clients and prospective clients

Client Service & Communication

  • Provide professional, responsive service to clients via phone, email, and in-person interaction
  • Facilitate and resolve client service requests in a timely and accurate manner
  • Prepare and review new account paperwork and assist with electronic application submission and account funding
  • Handle strategy updates, rollover calls, and new paperwork for existing and new clients
  • Ensure all meeting materials and required paperwork are prepared and organized in advance of client meetings
  • Attend client events as a representative of the firm

Operations & Administrative Support

  • Maintain and update CRM records and workflows to ensure accurate, current client information
  • Develop and maintain written systems and procedures for key operational activities
  • Assist advisors with calendar management, correspondence, and follow-up items
  • Support the administrative team as needed, including office supply management and mail handling
  • Assist with QuickBooks and payroll functions
  • Handle confidential and sensitive client information with discretion and professionalism
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve firm processes and the client experience

Content & Education

  • Assist in the development and execution of client webinars and educational programs
  • Help develop and maintain client-facing educational content and marketing materials
  • Support the creation of basic marketing strategies and materials as needed

What We're Looking For

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience with or willingness to learn CRM systems (we use Redtail)
  • Genuine interest in financial planning and serving clients

Preferred

  • Familiarity with financial planning concepts, terminology, and products
  • Experience in a financial services environment
  • Active securities licensing (Series 7, 65, 66, or 63) or currently pursuing
  • Experience with financial planning software (eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, or similar)
  • Sense of design and comfort creating professional client-facing materials
